A woman was found dead at the bottom of the stairs in a South Loop residential building on Sunday evening, Chicago police said.
She was pronounced dead on the scene after being found unresponsive at approximately 7:20 p.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of South Prairie Avenue, police said. The news was first reported by CWBChicago.
Detectives are conducting a death investigation. Autopsy results are pending.
