Wood Dale Alderman Sonny Sorrentino announced his intention to resign in the middle of a city council meeting Thursday. The Ward 3 alderman expressed both his displeasure in the council’s rejection of a petitioner’s request to house foster youth ages 14 to 20 in The Radcliff, a senior living center at 276 E. Irving Park Road, and his earlier recusal from agenda item.
