The defense team for Marni Yang, who is serving two life sentences for the 2007 slaying of the pregnant girlfriend of former Chicago Bear Shaun Gayle, on Tuesday asked the Lake County state’s attorney to reopen the murder investigation, as they continue to question Gayle’s alibi of where he was the morning of the homicide.
