Officials investigate possible human remains found in Rogers Park home

Chicago police are investigating after officers found “possible human remains” in a home on the far north side Monday morning.

Police said they found the remains a house on the 2800 block of West Fitch Avenue in the West Ridge neighborhood. Two people have been reported dead at the same address on the block since Feb. 1, Cook County medical examiner data shows.

The first death took place on Feb. 3 around 5 p.m, according to county data.
